WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is a strong supporter of the United States Armed Forces. The company hosts an annual Tribute to the Troops event to celebrate and entertain the brave men and women who serve in the United States Armed Forces. Here are five WWE Superstars who served in the military.

Montez Ford is currently a member of The Street Profits on WWE Monday Night Live. Ford joined WWE in 2015 with other Prospect Center recruits and later teamed with Angelo Dawkins in NXT, where they won the NXT Tag Team Championship. Before becoming a professional wrestler, Ford competed in track and field and was successful.

After graduating from high school, Montez Ford joined the Reserve Officers' Training Corps. He later joined the United States Marine Corps after graduation. From 2008 to 2012, he was a member of the Marine Corps. Ford was also responsible for planning his battalion's Defense Travel System. Montez Ford continued his martial arts career after his military service.

Lacey Evans joins the army at the age of 19. He later became a member of the Marine Corps SWAT team. Evans was introduced to professional wrestling by a colleague who organized nearby independent wrestling shows. It all started when a staff sergeant booked him for a show match.

Lacey Evans began her professional wrestling career in 2014 and signed with WWE in 2016. Sassy Southern Belle spent five years as a military police officer in the United States Police Corps before becoming a WWE Superstar.

WWE Superstar Bobby Lashley has a long list of accomplishments outside of wrestling. Lashley has had a successful wrestling career and a successful MMA career. Bobby Lashley, however, has a military background that most people don't know about. In his junior year, Bobby Lashley won a silver and gold medal at the International Military Sports Council event.

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash was a basketball player before starting his professional wrestling career. In 1981, he had to retire from basketball due to an injury sustained during a game in Germany. Grandpa Kuhl joined the 202nd Military Police Company and spent two years with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization security team.

"The Viper" Randy Orton is one of the best wrestlers in the world and one of the most decorated champions in WWE history. He is the World Heavyweight Champion in the company and has also headlined WWE WrestleMania twice.

Wwe Superstars That Have Served In The Armed Forces

Although both his father and grandfather were wrestlers, Orton decided to join the United States Marine Corps after graduation. His career in the military did not go as planned. He was fired for bad behavior. Orton then decided to follow in his father's footsteps and become a professional wrestler.
